Fire Poi are Kevlar wicked heads, of various shapes and sizes, which are attached to chains and twirled or "spun" around the body utilizing arm and wrist movements. They are soaked in liquid fuel and lit on fire as a performance art form, creating beautiful circles of fire. Poi originated with the Maori people of New Zealand, and have grown in popularity throughout the world.

Monkey Fist poi wicks are large sphere-shaped knots made out of 1/2" Kevlar rope with an absorbent Kevlar core. They are very popular in the fire community due to their comfortable weight, long burn time and the comet-like tails they create while being spun.
