This wick is the standard for fire tool production. It is made from Kevlar coated Fiberglass yarn. The Kevlar provides strength and the fiberglass improves high temperature resistance. This wick is available in 1/16" and 1/8" thick. Functionally, 2 layers of 1/16" works about the same as one layer of 1/8". Props tend to look nicer when made from the 1/16" wick, but the 1/8" can be nice for larger braided wicks because the labor is reduced.
Sold by the foot (305mm) - You will receive a continuous length up to 100 ft.

Works as intended.
Wow, it arrived fast. The wick is great, no doubt. But we were able to get tools built a head of time due to the quick arrival. Thanx!
The product was as good as previous orders except there was a sewn spice part way through the length. The service on this order was not up to the standards as previous orders. It was advertised that there would be free shipping on orders over $50, and 10% discount over 20 feet. This order was almost $70, and the length ordered was 30 feet. I had to pay for shipping and did not receive the discount. Previous similar orders were received in 2-3 days, this order did not arrive for 6 days. Additionally, I had to create a new account because there were problems logging into the account already established for a couple of years, and received no response when selecting the link for "forgot my password".
