Wood Plugs

These hardwood plugs are ideal for plugging the end of your fire steps. Using wooden plugs in your staff is important because it keeps fuel from running down inside the tubing and gives the screws that are holding your wicks on additional material to sink into. Because of variations in manufacturing of wooden dolls and aluminum tubing, these plugs may be tight or loose in the tubing. Make sure you order the correct diameter of wooden plug for your tubing size. If you are using 1/16 wall aluminum tubing you will typically need a plug size, one size smaller than the tubing itself.  The plugs are 3" (75mm) long.
