This is a great grip for fire tools. It has a nice soft feel for a solid hold. This grip is fuel resistant and will take a fair amount of heat before melting. Another great feature is that it will instantly absorb fuel and sweat to prevent you from getting slippery grip. We do recommend you give the grip a couple minutes to air out if you get a significant amount of fuel on it. The grip will evaporate off the fuel very quickly, but anything with fuel on it is flammable. Some tools will need 2 sets of grips such as staves. These grips are also great for tennis rackets, hammers or anything that could use a soft cushy feel.
