Overview:As fire spinners, we have tried many types of fire poi, but keep coming back to the cathedral wicks as the standard because of durability. While nothing fancy, this is the type of poi that will neve let you down. Fire poi sold in pairs.
Wick: "Our fire poi wicks come with Kevlar wrapped and sewn bottoms for the best durability and finished appearance.We stitch our poi through the surface of the wick, not the edge where the thread can hit the ground and break.

Construction: We use only high quality steel hardware with stainless steel quick links in our fire poi for maximum durability. We have replaced the usual eye bolts with a clevis pin and a pivoting welded ring for freer movement and less binding. Our ball chain is industrial grade #15 (5/16") USA Made stainless steel (rated to 125 lbs.), not the cheap stuff found at hardware stores that is prone to breakage. We find ball chain to be the easiest to use with the least amount of tangling for beginners and and link chain to offer more durability for advanced spinners. We guarantee all our hardware for one year from date of purchase.

Our canvas grips are made from fire resistant military cotton webbing and are our most comfortable grips.

Our pure Kevlar grips offer the ultimate in strength and fire resistance, but do not have as much padding as the canvas grips.

Ball handles are preferred by those who do tosses. The shaft of the ball handle swivels in the ball to prevent binding when doing flowers.

The ball handles have a large diameter aluminum shaft for a firm grip and a swivel built into the end for smooth action and minimal binding. These are especially useful when performing problematic moves such as flowers.
