Our removable hoop spines are what make us stand apart from the rest of the fire hoops available on the market today. They are engineered to flex when they hit the ground to prevent breakage. A special blend of polyurethane rubber is molded into a stem which is securely attached to stainless steel rods and Kevlar wicks, acting as a base. The polyurethane absorbs wick-wobble instead of amplifying it like spring spines are prone to do, making your hoop experience a smoother one. While flexible, these polyurethane stems are rigid enough to hold the weight of the hoop standing up. The polyurethane also acts as a lock when tightened against the hoop to reduce the likelihood of wicks coming loose during use. Unscrewing the spine wicks to detach allows for easy transport and also transforms your fire hoop into a practice hoop. You get two hoops in one!
