Here are examples of how to use the different types of Poi Grips.
Single loop grip

Hold hand out with fingers spread and insert loop. Close fingers as shown.

Wrap loop over the bottom of your fingers.

Pull the loop tight.

Loop it back between your fingers as shown. You are now ready to spin. We prefer this grip because we find it to flow better while spinning.
The single loop grip can be turned into a double loop cinching grip as shown below.

Find the middle of the grip, and using your fingernail, open up the weave of the Kevlar. Do not cut any of the strings.

Push one side of the loop through the hole.

Push the other side of the loop through the hole.

Untwist the grip so it looks like this.
Double loop grips.

This is a looser grip that can slide over the fingers more.
Ball Grips.

Experienced users can use this grip to throw and catch their poi.
