Flowtoys has chosen to no longer use us as a vender so sadly, we do not have these in stock any more, however we do offer Ultralight Poi which are programmable and can create almost any color combination.

The Flowlight is a durable, bright, versatile and rechargeable LED glowstick that runs on one AAA battery. The Flowlight was created to fulfill the need for a durable LED glowstick that could be powered by a readily available, affordable and sustainable energy source. While its main purpose is to serve as a light stick for illuminating flowtoys, its practical applications extend across a wide range of uses, including outdoor recreation, fashion, parties and novelty lighting.

These are the Generation 2 Flowlights, which were designed for use with Li-Ion AAA's. We also have a Lithium Ion Battery Charger for use with these batteries.
Important: Do not use Li-Ion batteries in Generation 1 flowlights - If you have a generation 1 flowlight, use NiMH Batteries.

Note that while the flowlight is extremely durable, it is not indestructible. Please read "Troubleshooting" tips for more info.

Durable*: High impact polycarbonate shell, rugged circuit board, surface mount components

Versatile: 11 brilliant modes for a wide range of applications, two lanyard holes enable the Flowlight to be easily suspended from both ends, one end stands up vertically

Easy to use: Intuitive one-button operation. Easy battery access with no screwdriver required, yet battery door stays engaged. Radical design!

Color-coded: LED indicators printed on the circuit board indicate each light's LED colors (Since Sept 2009)

Sustainable: Replaces chemical glowsticks, runs on one AAA battery, optimized for the rechargeable variety.

Safe: Non-sparking, non-flammable, non-incendiary

Bright (now with Superbright modes): three regulated ultrabright LEDs provide maximum brightness over battery life. Superbright modes run the battery twice as hard to provide you with more bright!

Low battery indicator: Single LED blinks when battery is below 0.9V and tells you it's time to charge your battery.

Favorite mode recall: The flowlight remembers which mode you were most recently in, so you can access your favorite mode without having to navigate through the other modes. (Since Jan 2008)

Total recall: Will not turn off with power loss. If light loses power momentarily or if you take the battery out, it will go back into the same mode when power resumes.

Power features: Optimized for use with rechargeable AAA batteries (will run to almost 0.8V). Also runs on standard AAA cells, designed to run at full brightness until battery runs down, no dimming until end of battery life

Lithium-ion compatible: Gives you over 25% longer run-time! Lithium ion cells have super-low self-discharge, which means you can charge today and your battery will still be charged a year from now! Generation 2 flowlights have built-in voltage detection and selective low-V cutoff to protect lithium-ion cells from overdischarge, which would ruin them, so their own protection circuit is not required (note that lithium AAAs with built-in protection circuits are too long to fit into the flowlight!).

DC-DC converter: Enables the flowlight to run at full brightness until it's battery is dead, no dimming until end of battery life.

Long lasting: If left on continuously, with good fully charged NiMH batteries, the Flowlight will last four hours on "bold" mode and eight hours on other modes. With rechargeable lithium-ion batteries Flowlights will last 10 hours or more --> that means all night long!

State-of-the-art micro-controller: The Flowlight comes with the newest, smartest “brain” – Atmel’s ATtiny24, the most advanced chip of its kind. Super efficient and versatile, this advanced chip enables higher performance and flexibility for re-programming and other modifications (not for average users)
