Trick Concepts Fire and Glow Hoop! Trick Concepts has recently released a premium glow hoop and to top it off, it is available with our flexible fire hoop spines. This is not the standard glow hoop found on most web sites. We hand make all of these in our shop to the same high quality standards of our fire gear. All of our hoops have 32 bright LEDs in the colors of your choice.
-
-
Our hoops have no switches to bump and no charge ports to be in the way. Our hoops are super light and are made from tubing with an outside diameter of 7/8". All hoops are available with gaffers tape for grip and appearance for no charge. The gaffers tape breaks up the color while the hoop is spinning and makes for a much more visually pleasing performance.
-
This hoop comes with one Lithium Ion Battery and one smart charger. One battery will run the hoop for about 4 - 8 hours depending on the LED colors and is replaceable in seconds to keep you going all night. Extra Batteries are available on this page and our main hoop page. Each hoop only needs one battery and the hoop is counter weighted for perfect balance. We offer a full one year warranty on this hoop. We also offer this hoop without fire spines.
-
All of out LEDs are encapsulated in Silicone to improve shock resistance and durability. The entire light strand is housed between 2 layers to flexible polyethylene to eliminate any rattling.
-
All fire spine inserts are reinforced for maximum durability.
-
Flexible Spine Wicks: Our hoops feature 6 removable spines. These spine wicks were specifically designed to flex when they hit the ground to prevent breakage. A special blend of polyurethane rubber is molded into a stem which is securely attached to stainless steel rods and Kevlar wicks, acting as a base. While flexible, these polyurethane stems are rigid enough to prevent the wicks from wobbling and will hold the weight of the hoop standing. The polyurethane also acts as a lock when tightened against the hoop to reduce the likelihood of wicks coming loose during use. The polyurethane also absorbs wick wobble instead of amplifying it like a spring spines are prone to do. Simply unscrew the spine wicks to detach for easy transport, transforming your fire hoop into a practice hoop!
-
Spine Choices: Spines are available in 2 lengths: 6.5" (165mm) and 8.5" (216mm) long. Shorter spines are great for tricks and quick maneuvers which require getting the hoop close to the ground, however may become very hot if you don't keep the hoop moving. Longer spines get the fire further away from your hands and body to reduce the heat you feel. Keep in mind the longer the spines will have less ground clearance.
-
Wick Choices: Wick heads are available in 3 sizes: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Beginner wicks are 1.5" (38mm) wide and 1.5" (38mm) diameter, and use 2 ft. of Kevlar wick. Intermediate wicks are 1.5" (38mm) wide and 1.75" (50mm) in diameter and use 3 ft. of Kevlar wick. Advanced wicks are 1.5” (38mm) wide and 2” (50mm) in diameter and use 4 ft. of Kevlar wick.
-
Simply insert the battery, snap the hoop shut and you are ready to go. Just snap the hoop apart to turn it off. The battery can be removed or put in backwards to continie using it unlit. We reconed removing the battery for long term storage.
-
All LED hoops are coiled up to half their diameter for shipping. While these hoops can be repeatedly coiled up for transport, doing so to tightly can kink the tubing. A kink can be fixed to allow the hoop to function normally, but it will no longer be able to be coiled up. Kinks are not covered by the warranty, but we ill help you repair it if it happens.
-
You have the option to space your LED lights in 4 different ways. The image above shows how your hoop will look if you alternate colors every other LED. This example shows a hoop that had 4 different color LEDs. If you want fewer colors, just chose the same color for more that one option. Alternating colors every LED is best for hoops that will be spun very slowly or will be often used as a stationary prop. As the hoop gets moving faster, the colors will start to blur together. Choosing one of the other options will be better for most hoopers.
-
The second light spacing is good for slow to moderate hooping.
-
The fourth light spacing is good for moderate to fast hooping.
-
The eight light spacing is good for fast hooping or any time that you want the audience to clearly see the distinction of the different colors..

Our fire resistant towels and blankets (also known as Duvetyn) are made out of heavy 16 ounce commando” grade cotton fabric that has a brushed finish on one side and smooth on the other. Order a 27” (680mm) x 36” (900mm) fire blanket for putting out your hoop wicks with your hoop and save. Note: Washing these towels and blankets will remove their fire resistance. Even if the fabric resists burning, the fuel vapors on the fabric can still ignite. Excess fuel may build up on a towel that has been used several times in a row, so allow time for the towel or blanket to dry out if it becomes damp with fuel.

Did this photo catch your attention? Does it look like a brighter hoop? Gotcha! It's all about how you take the photo. Not only do we do our best to accurately represent our hoops in all the photos we take, we hold all our photos to the highest possible quality standard possible. Most of our LED photos are taken at about ¼” of a second shutter speed. To get this photo of our hoop, we left the shutter on our camera open for a full 10 seconds letting on 40 times as much light, until the photo was completely blown out. It is possible to make even the dimmest hoop look blinding if the shutter on the camera is left open long enough. Don't be fooled by trick photography. While not all LEDs are created equally, most hoops are made from a similar high brightness LED. We have taken great effort to ensure your hoop is the brightest available. That is why we use 32 LEDs!
