Long lasting and super fun!
Been performing with this Fire Wand for ages and it never fails to amaze the crowd at every show. Flame is gorgeously bright and big, while retaining balance expertly (especially after the first minute). The plain stem is also a perfect base for customization and I've BLING-ed mine with Rhinestones and craft glue that have stayed on for years. :) Highly recommended!

Yep, it's a floating torch.
It does exactly what I want it to do: stay upright and burn. There is really no problem of keeping it lit or having the string get burned due to a protective coating. I had it burning for about 3 minutes or so on the first go. This is much bulkier than what I am used to and the string could do with extra length. Also, the string broke during my testing with a particularly hard fling. I don't count that too much against it since I was only testing its strength and would never jerk it that hard during a performance, but it does worry me and thus I give only 4 stars. Also, there are no instructions on how to properly restring it. Perhaps that comes with the string kit. Other than that, I like it. I would not recommend this for someone new to fire or levitation rods. You need a bit of practice with both before tackling this, I think.

Love it
Ordered my firewand last month and got it in time for the halloween fire show. A real crowd pleaser! It's much heavier than the flowwand I'm used to, but I found the balance to be good and was able to perform all the tricks I normally do. It takes a bit of practice to adjust to the heavier weight, but not much. :) I'm happy with it.

didn't really work
I've used other levi-wands and some flow toys before, but this one wouldn't stay upright. Also the string was shorter than the length to the wick, so I couldn't pass my hand over the wick. It does make an excellent torch, but the balance was about an inch and a half off

excellent handling/performance!
Nice work! I built the original fire flow-wand for Prisna and thought I had it pretty dialed in after the 4th version... Jaz has sent me 4 versions now and the latest one handles perfectly! he has fixed the wick with an internal metal strip that holds it down flat with just one screw, though you could stitch the edge down by hand to make it really slick if you wanted. the burn time is awesome and the balance is perfect, optimal in the middle of the burn, but still manageable at the end. it is very difficult to account for the fuel weight burning off without making it too heavy and Jaz has done an amazing job with internal wicking and weighting. the double safety string attachment is brilliant, slick and effective without effecting the handling and the the handle and ball bearing swivel are smooth and comfortable and easy to use. the aesthetic design is minimal, to say the least, but an great base for decorating to fit your personal style or costume. it burns brighter, longer and handles at least as good as the one I made and is not any heavier.
