Fire Tool Spin Out Can

After fueling, you will typically have excess fuel on your poi. Some experienced performers like this as they can spin this extra fuel off in trails or other special effects, but until you have mastered the art of poi, our spin off cans provide a safe and convenient way to remove/reuse this fuel. The standard method called “spinning out” usually entails you spinning your poi in a safe outdoor area away from where you are performing before lighting up. This method ensures that any excess fuel on your poi will not fly off from the wick while you are performing. However, you may find yourself at a venue where there is no safe outdoor area to spin off, or you may want to recapture the fuel for reuse later.  In either case, use of a spin off can will save you money on fuel and reduce the amount of contamination to the environment. To use, simply dip your poi in a fuel dipping can and allow any excess fuel to drain back into the can on its own. Next, place your fueled poi into the spin off can and hold both the poi grips along with the grip attached to the can as shown in the photo.  Then, carefully spin the can and poi together as you would normally to spin out.  Excess fuel will be trapped in the spin out can and may be poured into your fuel dipping can for future use. Great for indoor shows! Our spin out can is 1 gallon (almost 4 liters) and comes with a nylon grip, attaching chain and wire mesh bottom.
