After fueling, you will typically have excess fuel on your poi. Some experienced performers utilize this by spining the extra fuel off in trails or other special effects, but until you have mastered the art of Poi, our spin off cans provide a safe and convenient way to remove/reuse unused fuel.
The standard method called “spinning out” usually entails spinning your poi in a safe outdoor area away from where you are performing before lighting up.
This method ensures that any excess fuel on your poi will not fly off from the wick while you are performing. However, you may find yourself at a venue where there is no safe outdoor area to spin off, or you may want to recapture the fuel for reuse later. In either case, use of a spin off can will save you money on fuel and reduce the amount of contamination to the environment.
