“Nunchaku”, the ancient martial art utilizing “nunchucks” (two torches linked together), requires concentration, speed and dexterity. Mastery of this art takes serious dedication and practice, but once achieved is beautiful to watch in motion.

Design:  We created our Fire Nunchaku Torches with versatility in mind. They can be used as stand-alone torches, or linked together with the optional quicklink to create a pair of fire nunchaku.  

Wicks:   Our wicks are available in two sizes – small and large. 

• Smaller wicks are great for beginners or those who want their chucks lighter and faster.  Constructed of 32” of Kevlar.

 

• Larger wicks will give you bigger fire and a longer burn time, but weigh more which makes them slightly slower when spun.  Constructed of 48” of Kevlar.

• Single wicks come with 2” wide Kevlar wicks.

 

• Double wicks come with 1.5” wide Kevlar wicks.

Sizes: Our chuck torches come in three different configurations.

 

• 9” long with single wicks
• 11” long with single wicks
• 11” long with double wicks.

Construction: Most nunchaku torches are constructed of metal or wood which can make them hot and heavy. Our nunchaku torches are made of fiberglass tubing which makes them lightweight, and since fiberglass does not conduct heat like metal, these chucks don’t get hot in your hands! We use ball-bearing swivels to help keep movement smooth and effortless. Wooden plugs are inserted inside each end for proper weight, balance, and to act as an attachment point for the wicks, keeping them securely in place. Foam padded grips provide comfort and absorb moisture for less slippage. Choose from a wide variety of grip colors.

Classic Grip: A padded grip which provides comfort, stability, and helps absorb moisture for less slippage.

Premium Grip: This grip offers more cushion and extra padding with a more solid feel as well as better heat resistance, and longer life.

Warning: Please be aware that “nunchucks” are illegal/restricted in some locations, so please check with your local law enforcement agency before purchasing. For this reason, we recommend always keeping your fire chuck torches unlinked when not being utilized as a performance tool. As with all fire tools, a certain level of skill should first be achieved before lighting up.
