Trick Concepts 4th Fire Photo Contest
Photo Contest Official Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. Void where prohibited. Open to residents of all countries (except where mail is restricted by the U.S.), AND who, as of March 1st, 2011, are 18 years of age or older. Contest begins on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 and ends at midnight, May 1, 2011. All eligible E-mail entries must be received before midnight PST on May 1, 2011. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by May 1, 2011.

Theme: Photos will be judged based on fire performance (a fire performer spinning, wielding, breathing, etc...) which results in the photographic capturing of fire in a unique or unusual way.

Judging: Contest winners will be selected by our 2011 Judging Panel: Incendium Arts - a world-class fire performance troupe based in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. The selection will occur between the dates of May 1-7, 2011 from among all eligible entries received. All decisions of the Contest Judges are final. Employees and Family Members of Trick Concepts and Incendium Arts are ineligible.

Contest Description: Maximum number of photo entries per person is five (5). All Photos must be submitted at the same time. You may not change out photos once submitted. You must either be the main subject of the photo or the photographer of the photo submitted to enter. If the photo is not taken by you, the photographer must approve of the submission. If you are the photographer, the subject in the photo must approve of the submission. Your entry into this contest is consent that these stipulations have been met. Each contest participant consents to having his/her photo entry and name (or nickname) displayed on our website under Photo Gallery / Photo Contest for as long as the gallery is active. Each winner consents to having their winning photo and name (or nickname) displayed on our website’s front page. Winners agree to allow Trick Concepts to use their photos anywhere on trickconcepts.com, firebytrickconcepts.com and facebook.com/trickconcepts for promotional purposes. The Sponsor (as hereafter defined as Trick Concepts) and Judges (as hereafter defined as Incendium Arts) are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, illegible entries, or entries containing incorrect information. Not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer systems or mail services. All mailed entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
How to Enter: To enter (starting March 1st, 2011 at 12:00 AM PST) participants may e-mail photo entries plus information listed below to: Scorch@trickconcepts.com.
Photos will not be accepted by mail.

Each Submission must include the following Information:

Full name of person submitting entry
Nickname and/or Troupe Name of person submitting photo (if applicable)
Full mailing address of person submitting entry (or where you would like your prizes mailed should you win)
Telephone number of person submitting entry
E-mail address of person submitting entry

Note: All information provided is confidential and will not be distributed or sold in any way.
Photos will be reduced to 1000 pixels in their largest dimension. Please do not submit excessively large or excessively small photos. Photos must be in .jpg format.

General Restrictions: Must be 18 years of age to enter. Only one prize per family, household, or address. No substitution, transfer of prize, or cash redemptions permitted except as provided herein. All federal/state/local taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners. All federal/state/provincial/local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor and Judges are not liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prizes.

Photo Restrictions: The rules for digital manipulation (Photoshop, etc.) have been changed from previous years. We are allowing digital manipulation for the purpose or color adjusting, basic touch up and lighting corrections. We do not allow compositing of photos, special effects artistic filters (digitally added), adding text of any type except for a reasonable size copyright or any modification that is intended to significantly change the content of the photo. No nudity allowed. No winning photos from previous year’s contests may be submitted for entry.

Prizes:

First Place: One (1) first place winner will be awarded a $300.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.

Second Place: One (1) second place winner will be awarded a $150.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.

Third Place: One (1) third place winner will be awarded a $75.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.

Honorable Mentions: All Honorable mentions will be awarded a 15% off Gift certificate. The 15% off gift certificate is not eligible for wick. The Certificate will expire 6 months from time of issue.

Note: All prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not convertible to cash.
Note: By entering this contest, the participant consents to entry of his / her submission and agrees to these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters to this contest.
